We have had many complex jobs where we have had to integrate a website into a third-party suppliers system, custom databases or other legacy systems. Unlike most web companies, we have a strong and experienced technical background that allows us to get things to work where other people fail.
If you have a specific technical issue that you wish to resolve then please don't hesitate to call us. We can build a website or intranet to integrate into your system, or if you already have a site developed or under development, we can work alongside your developers to solve their integration problems.
Typical Examples
Our customer runs an existing 10 year old stock control and order processing system based on Unix servers provided and maintained by a third party. This third party showed no interest in linking their system to an ecommerce website. We, together with another firm who built in-house systems to manage this interface, assisted in building bridges between our ecommerce systems and their legacy systems by building secure FTP gateways to pass order and product data files between the two systems.
Another customer wanted us to develop a new ecommerce website for them, but did not have access to the database for their existing ecommerce system. We were able to create scripts that automated logging into their existing system, retrieving all the data from their database by automatically calling their product update pages one at a time, and replicated that data into our own database, including conversions of data and cleaning out unnecesary records and fixing character set conversion problems at the same time. They were able to transfer all of the data from the existing system to the new system without needing to speak to their uncooperative previous website company.
